My Lifes Dilemma.

I have just picked myself up off my floor from lying flat out on my back in a starfish shape contemplating life, existence, the world, the universe, the meaning of zen and finally - what the hell i am going to do with the rest of my life!



i spent the last few hours of today discussing my course with my dad. I can honestly say that there are some aspects of the course that i love and really enjoy i.e. all the practical stuff and all the hands on things - i have no problem with all that but then theres the other stuff.

The stuff where the teachers suck and just talk regardless of whats going on around them and just mutter the whole lecture or lab to themselves... or even spend a ridiculously stupid amount of time drawing a diagram on the board using a board ruler and protractor and making all the angles and distances correct etc.. WHEN WE HAVE IT ON OUR SHEET. - basically its a waste of their time and ours coz we can see it on our sheet and he just has to rub it off soon after SO ITS POINTLESS.

I get frustrated.

Then theres the lady who wont tell us what the topic is going to be before the lesson so we cant bring in/go over the notes and 'because i went last week' im not allowed to go to the library to do the worksheet exercises even though i cant do it without some notes...... so i go to the library to take out the book for the lesson and guess what? theres only one of the book that i need and ITS REFERENCE ONLY. so instead i just sit. I sit for one whole hour doing NOTHING and waste my time.

I get even more frustrated.

Theres plenty other things too but i just cant be bothered to write about them all just at the moment but i have made it seem that i hate every single moment of the course - which is a lie as there is a fair amount of stuff that i enjoy but im obviously not going to talk about all that because thats just not interesting for you and not as fun for me! Its more fun to complain!

ok, so after my little rant summary of it all is that im not 100% sure i want to carry on with the course so we are contemplating different options and will see what happens but currently i am continuing with ophthalmic dispensing.

Other news in my life? Ive been pretty good at the gym and working up a sweat and a very red face, my car now starts almost always after a little journey to the garage for the engine to be cleaned, my friend was home from her gap year for a long weekend so i saw lots of her and went with her parents to the airport to pick her up and it was a lovely surprise! umm.... other things?

hmm..........

bit dull really!

Oh, saw a man get knocked off his bike the other day at uni but he was being really stupid and reckless and was talking on his mobile phone. Cycling and talking on his mobile phone. HM. its one thing to be on the phone in the car when theres the seat next to you to throw the phone on if need be (though generally shouldnt be on the phone unless desperately lost - not that i know much about that one... :D :S!!).... but seriously. CYCLING AND TALKING ON THE PHONE. Absolute muppet.

luckily he was ok though but a bit shaken up.

the builders are still here and driving me insane. seriously just want them to leave by now!! though its all looking really good and everything is taking shape.

A new beautician just opened up down the road from me a 4 minute walk away so i popped in to get the price list and the waxing isnt all that expensive so im very excited about the convenience of it and am going to book myself in and try it out.

Any other news? Unfortunately not. Lifes pretty uneventful at the moment which fortunately for you means less for me to write nothing about!!
